Savor Me Slowly

by Gena Showalter

Pros: Don’t pick this book up if you think you can set it back down later. This is an up all night read!
Cons: It does have a tendency to become a little monotonous in the lovers relationship.

Le’Ace is a killer. She wasn’t born. She was developed in a Science lab. Pieced together to be a seductress. A warrior. A Killer.

She has built a wall around herself in an attempt to protect her heart from any unwanted pain. A smart move. . . since she’s a slave.

When her path collides with Jaxon Tremain, both of their lives are thrown to helter skelter. They’re after the same aliens. Their goals are similar. And if they can just find a way to trust each other, they might actually find happiness in the end.

I really enjoyed the roller coaster ride Ms Showalter takes the reader on in this one. The relationship is all encompassing even though there is so much the characters have to battle; A group of Aliens spreading a dangerous virus with the potential to wipe out all life in their world, Le’Ace’s boss/owner who refuses to allow her to have any kind of relationship with others, and Jaxon’s well intending, but narrow-minded friends that refuse to believe that the two could ever be truly in love. (and that’s just to list a few!)

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for MORE than just an average romance. This story is far ABOVE average!

Now What?
