Harmony’s Way by Lora Leigh
by Lora Leigh
Pros: Very hot romance
Cons: Too focused on sex
Lora Leigh definitely knows how to steam up a reader’s glasses, there’s no doubt about that. And Harmony’s Way is another perfect example.
I’ve been reading this series out of order. I started with Tanner’s Scheme, which I enjoyed quite a bit, then went backwards and got Harmony’s Way.
While I enjoyed the reintroduction to Leigh’s interesting “Breed” world, I felt that the romance in this particular novel was a little lost in the sexiness of it all.
That said, if you are looking for a hot, steamy and somewhat kinky read – this one’s for you. I do enjoy those on occasion and did this time, too, but where Tanner’s Scheme successfully blended a full dose of romance along with the sizzling sex, Harmony’s Way seemed to be a little skimpy on the love.
For fans of this series, definitely include this entry. It helps the overall storyline move forward and introduces some interesting characters. But for a good, solid love story, keep looking.
